The Cobb County Police Department is on scene of a suspicious package, Channel 2 Action News has learned.
Police say they have officers at the Truist Bank located at 1661 East-West Connector investigating a suspicious item found outside the bank.
There are traffic impacts, police tell Channel 2 Action News. If you’re traveling on the East-West Connector, traffic should not be impeded by the investigation.
However, travel on Hospital South Drive between the East-West Connector and Austell Road is closed until further notice.
